Irish singer-songwriter and actor Glen Hansard, whose work on Once earned him an Academy Award and international recognition, has died following a motorcycle crash outside Dublin. He was 56.
Hansard was involved in a single-vehicle motorcycle collision in the Strawberry Beds area near Lucan, west of Dublin, shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
