English model and actor Cara Delevingne is the cover star of Playboy’s Summer 2026 print edition, appearing in a bold fashion editorial that marks a milestone for the magazine. The 33-year-old poses on the cover wearing a black latex-style lace corset by Atsuko Kudo while holding a lit match to a cigarette, with the image styled as an artistic, high-fashion portrait.

According to Playboy, Delevingne is the first openly lesbian woman to appear on the magazine’s print cover. She told the publication the shoot represented a more empowering experience than some of her previous modeling work because it was produced by a predominantly female and queer-led creative team, including photographer Zoey Grossman and stylist Lana Jay Lackey.
The editorial also features Delevingne wearing Playboy’s iconic Bunny costume, making her the first model to wear the outfit in the magazine since Kate Moss appeared in it in 2014. The cover was teased on social media before the full reveal, generating widespread attention ahead of the issue’s release.

In her accompanying interview, Delevingne reflects on her personal growth, sobriety, body confidence, and sexuality, describing this stage of her life as one where she feels more comfortable in her own skin. She also discusses her music career and reveals that she is preparing to release her debut album later this summer after initially considering putting it out anonymously.
The Summer 2026 issue of Playboy is scheduled to reach newsstands on July 28, 2026.
